Spring Fashion Acquires a Spanish Accent

During the recent New York Fashion week, three front-row fixtures turned up at the Proenza Schouler show wearing flirty white and black-trimmed crepe blouses from the label’s spring collection.

“There is something about a ruffle and off-the-shoulder cut that makes women feel sexy without being too overtly bare,” said one of those attendees, Roopal Patel, fashion director of Saks Fifth Avenue, who Instagrammed a snap of herself with seatmates Beth Buccini, co-owner of the New York boutique Kirna ZabĂȘte, and Alina Cho, a fashion-book editor.
